Meet Our Team

Jamie Schwaberow

Owner & Director, NCAA Photos

After an internship working in the Photo Chief’s office at the 1996 Olympic Games as well as the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, I pursued a career in photojournalism with stops at the Columbus Dispatch and Boston Herald. I joined Clarkson Creative in 1999 working as one of the team photographers for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies as well as a staff photographer for NCAA Photos. I’ve been the Director of NCAA Photos since 2001 and have covered over 200 championships to date. I became the sole owner of Clarkson Creative Photography in 2019.

I’m happily married and am proud to have two wonderful daughters.

Tafoya

Staff Photographer & Digital Asset Manager

I’ve worked in a variety of fields before I circled back to my roots of photography and took on a full time role at Clarkson Creative in 2011. I help manage our NCAA Photos and historical archive of images dating back to the 1950’s.

Sports photography has been a big part of my career as a photographer and while the action on the field is the focus for fans, the moments off the field are what I enjoy capturing.

I have passion for travel, food and civic engagement and am always looking to tell the lesser known stories of people and businesses through photography.

I was born and raised in Denver and love everything Colorado has to offer.

C. Morgan Engel

Staff Photographer & Social Media Manager

My road to Clarkson Creative went through different corners of this country. After graduating from Texas A&M, I worked as a camp photographer and social media manager for a summer camp in rural Maine. After that, I joined the Minnesota Vikings organization, photographing everything from community engagement to sponsorship. Then I spent time as part of the Los Angeles Chargers photography team.

Now I bring my experiences to Clarkson Creative, where I do my best to capture moments as professionally & organically as possible.

Staff Photographer

My path to becoming a photographer began when my high school advisor told me to drop my photo class and focus on biology honors; I refused.

In my two years as a newspaper photographer at the Duluth News Tribune in Minnesota I realized I was just a little more eager to photograph sports assignments. I followed that passion and worked as a photographer for the Tampa Bay Rays for two seasons. After living in Florida I knew it was time to move closer to home which is what brought me to Clarkson Creative.

My passion for storytelling in all its forms keeps me focused and enthusiastic about even the simplest of assignments.

I take my "Nebraska nice" with me wherever I go.
