With that, they are honoring the Division II 40th Anniversary Tribute team with 40 student-athletes who have excelled and represent most what being a DII student-athlete is all about.

In this episode, we profile San Diego Chargers running back, Danny Woodhead, and his journey to the big leagues.

Running in the Colorado Trails

Kristin Gablehouse is a long-distance runner through and through.

For her, she can go for hours winding through the Rocky Mountain landscape. It’s a period of zen and relaxation that’s hard to find any place else.

Colorado has one of the most vast network of hiking and running trails in the world — a Mecca for runners, if you will.

Take a journey with us as we followed Kristin into the Centennial Cone trail near Golden, Colorado.

Rich Clarkson is 80!

For Rich Clarkson’s 80th birthday, we put together a video from folks who sent a video submission to wish him a Happy Birthday and also those with good stories and tribute to Rich.

If you know Rich or not, this is good testament to the man he has and all those careers he has affected.

CBS News ‘This Morning’ profiled Rich Clarkson for 57th Final Four

Since 1952, Rich Clarkson has been a staple of the NCAA Final Four Tournament documenting history. From the emergence of the black athlete to the different style of the game, Rich has been travelled the road to the Final Four 57 times.

With that, Charlie Rose and CBS News This Morning gave him some airtime this year on the Monday morning of the Championship game.

RCA wins 3 Telly Awards

For over 30 years, the Telly Awards has been the premier award honoring outstanding TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and web videos and films.

With nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and foreign countries, a prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals uphold the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents.

Less than 10% of entries are chosen as Winners of a Silver Telly, the highest honor.

RCA wins 5 AVA Awards for multimedia work

January 18, 2012

The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) has awarded Rich Clarkson & Associates 5 international AVA Awards for our creative work involved in the evolution of digital communication in multimedia and video.

There were a total of 1,700 entries from around the world. 14% of entries were honored with the Platinum Award and 14% were honored with the Gold Award.

Here is a list of all platinum winners in the contest. Awards given to RCA were 2 Platinum Awards, 2 Gold Awards, and an Honorable Mention.

Championship moments

January 10, 2012

This weekend we produced two pieces for the BCS Championship Game in New Orleans.

First, we showed up early to document the ‘love for the game’ and the passion that drives both teams and their strong base of fans.

Secondly, as NCAA photos we turned the game into a moving time-lapse of photos showing the excitement of the game (minus the score!).
